Although the park opens at 06:00 I'd recommend not visiting first thing as during early morning it's still a bit misty. Go once the sun is up, as this burns off the mist and makes for better photos. I went in February which is mid to high flow, meaning there was lots of water vapour and spray. In some areas... More

We went during Oct. which is the time when the falls are the lowest, and also the easiest to see. you can walk all along the trails on the edge of the waterfall, and may even see wild warthogs grubbing for food. Fell in love with it!! If you go there during the season when the falls are not full,... More

Victoria Falls is one of the Wonders of the World and justifiably so. The Zambesi River cascades into a chasm nearly 2 kilometers long in several separate falls. The rainforest you walk trhough facing the falls is lush and green and the walkways are well maintained concrete. You will get wet, so take a raincoat and a camera cover. Spend... More

We came here just to see the falls and were fortunate to get a helicopter ride straight away, ludicrously expensive, but amazing view over the falls - and dry! Unlike the ground level tour, which is wetter than wet, no escape! The falls are breathtaking, nature at its best, and a feeling that they have been flowing forever. The Batoka... More

Victoria Falls - Our entry into Zimbabwe. Well run, well maintained natural wonder of the world. If you have been to Niagara Falls in New York, then this site will blow you away. Niagara is miniscule in comparison. About a 2 km work through the falls. Pathway follows the falls on the Zimbabwe side with great views of the never... More

What a site to behold! We went to the Zim side of the falls - so many beautiful view points, the park is very well maintained. Take your raincoat or get one there- the spray is quite something! A bucket list site for sure.

Although a helicopter ride is expensive, it really is the best way to see the falls, the whole length of them is so impressive and breathtaking. the copter makes several turns so that everyone can get good views and is very staedy so that you can get good photos.

As a natural wonder of the world it is not hard to see why. The first thing you feel at the entrance is a slight most and a distant noise. Get closer and there is this wonderful roar of unstoppable power cascading over the edge of the Zambia border. We walked all the way to bridge, got thoroughly soaked for... More

We visited the falls in what is supposed to be off-season, but February is always excellent in our experience. It's not so busy and there is always a lot of water and an excellent spray. We visited at 4pm, perfect time (closes at 6pm). There were almost no other visitors and the light was perfect for pics. Remember - if... More
