Was at the Nationa Theatre, Accra, Ghana for the TED Accra 2015 event. I took an opportunity to go view the national Fontomfrom drum on display at the edifice. So breathtaking and full of history. the history of Ghana's musicology and folklore.

I've been to two events at the theatre and while they were great, the lack of theatre etiquette can be annoying. Be prepared for talking and regular use of cell phones during any and all performances.

The National Theatre is a great location for the arts in Ghana. The inside is a little dated but there are a number of new commissioned art sculptures outside which are a beautiful representation of Ghanaian culture.

Good architect building, worth seeing and a big one, well utilized compared to most other buildings across. Events are held every now and then and people flock for these events and participate.
