If you happen to be either at the zoo or the national Parc... run over to the museum on the same campus and have your self a look around!

The museum is located within the bounds of the botanical gardens - a splash of green in a dusty city. I've been twice now and what I've enjoyed most is the textiles. They have a lovely collection of textiles - both antique and modern -...More

A good way to have an idea of Mali's interesting history. Special attention for the textile area and the wood handcrafts, mask and totems.

Very small museum. They have masks, native dress various other items. We had our own personal watcher following us around. It takes about 30 minutes to see it all.

There is not much in the museum but it is still worth a visit. The "material" collection and the way it is "exposed" is very original. Some greats stories about how some artifacts were found.

Hi, I'm sorry I don't know. I went on a Saturday afternoon after touring the Botanical Gardens. So I know they are open on Saturday at about 1:30 or 2. I encourage you to visit and to check out the gift shop as well.
