I guess that from the air it must be espectacular because from earth is dull. Not the effort to see it. I've seen much more interesting craters than this one. Too many tourists taking selfies.

Trou aux Cerfs is a dead crater between Floreal and Curepipe with a wonderful panoramic view. Nice historical place, ideal for an early morning or afternoon walk or jogging.

Visited as part of south island tour, cool to see this dormant volcano, we expected a black charred area but instead its a lush green area, very cool to see and also some good views of surrounding area
