It is a nice green hill with a pond in the middle.unusual no doubt but the slopes is where the rich live in grand bungalows. It's nice to visit if you have not seen a crater before.

An amazing and romantic volcano crater with a small pond, located within the Curepipe city boundary. You need to walk around the crater to get a really good view, because it is overgrown with trees and brushes. Definitely worth the visit!

This location gives you a good view of Curepipe and beyond. Car parking is free, but limited. This is a site of a volcano, but the crater is fenced off and you cannot get a good view of it. There are some toilets (it looked like there was a charge to use them) and benches, which are good for a... More

A very good a cold breeze with a magnificent view of the town of Curepipe. Free from air and noise pollution. Good place for enjoying peace. On the slope a small garden where you can sit and breathe in the cold and pure air.

It is difficult to park here and at the end if a ten minute walk uphill you could see very little. It is surrounded by fencing and trees so is difficult to see. Maybe if they constructed a viewing platform it would be worth a visit!

Amazing views of the island and so many different species of trees not to mention the long walks. Sunsets are amazing as well. A must to visit and witness in person.

Was pleasantly surprised at this attraction. It's nothing how i expected a volcano rim to be like. The rim has manicured lawns and a paved road around it, either of which are great to run a few rounds around the volcano. Great views of the island. You cannot descend into the crater but rather view it from above. Gives a... More

Amazing place even though you cannot see clearly the old vulcano's mouth. The old vulcano is very evident, the plants and the trees are in a conic shape. Big and deep, you can take some pictures from the top of the hill, just up above the car park. There aren't signs on the road so sometimes could be hard to... More
