Walk with the cheetahs was outstanding! Very well managed. We had 10 people in our group. We drove out to an enclosed area with the guides and they allowed us to touch the animals and take photos. The cheetahs are so elegant and regal.

Love this place. So calming, and great staff. The lunch is really good. Went for the game drive, boat trip and fishing. My family also did the cheetah walk. I just feel sorry for that one lonely elephant in the park. He didn’t look too happy. But you should definitely pay Chaminuka a visit.

We just had a 1/2 day to do something near Lusaka and we booked to go on a jeep ride through the preserve. The road to get there was pretty rutted and the driver had a hard time to find the lodge so it took about an hour to get there. Once there, we had missed our appointment so we... More

This is a wonderful place, especially if you can spend a night or go there really early for a day trip. There's so much to do: game drive, cheese and wine tasting, tennis, fishing, boat cruise, art work, snooker, books written by owner - you'll be spoilt for choice! Getting there is a mission because it is out of town... More

Have been there couple of times for business and personal day trips but this is the first time I spent a night on a business trip. Rooms are average and need to be remodelled. What they call villas are actually houses far away from the main property and are even worse than the main building rooms! Concept of art is... More

I decided to visit Chaminuka with two colleagues during my week stay in Lusaka. It was a perfect choice - it is less than an hour away from downtown Lusaka. The experience was fantastic, the lodge itself is beautiful, and the entry ticket included delicious lunch including grilled meat and lots of vegetarian options. The Safari took over 1.5 hours... My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip at Chaminuka. The food was lovely with so much to choose from the lunch buffet. People freely went back for seconds. The game drive was fine and the boat cruise adventurous. The kids enjoyed the pool too on that hot day. It was a worthwhile venture.

Beautiful scenery. Not far from the city and worth the drive. We had a lovely time and the boat cruise was superb. The service could be improved but overall good service.

It was such great fun visiting chaminuka, from the start on the game drive to the very end with the cheetah experience. The staff where warm and friendly, our guides where very informative and humorous making the experience that much more enjoyable. We didn't expect to see so much wild life! The cheetah experience is a must, with the guides... More
