We had an incredible 10-day journey in Bhutan with the invaluable assistance of Druk Asia, especially Sangay Dorji. Sangay's expertise and deep understanding of Bhutan exceeded our expectations as he meticulously collaborated with us to craft our itinerary. His insights went beyond the ordinary, enlightening us on aspects we hadn't considered before. Sangay's responsiveness and punctuality in addressing our inquiries further reinforced our trust in his abilities, leaving us immensely grateful for his assistance in organizing our Bhutanese expedition. We engaged DrukAsia to arrange for our 10-day Bhutan Holiday in March 2024. We visited the Western and Central Bhutanese towns of Paro, Thimphu, Punahka, Trongsa and Phobjikha.
It was our first trip to the Bhutan and Ugyen Dema from DrukAsia was very professional and efficient in getting the reservations for the hotels, tours, flights and visa done. All communication was timely, informative and clear, and we felt reassured at every step of the process that all arrangements were on track and made to our specifications. We were also provided with all the information needed, which helped make the trip a smooth and worry-free one.
But what truly made our trip special was our Tour Guide Tshewang Dema and Driver Topgay. In all our travels, we have not met a Guide with that ideal combination of deep knowledge and passion, as well as genuine warmth and natural disposition to care for the comfort and safety of their guests. Tshewang was by our side throughout and was equally adept at explaining the cultural and religious aspects of the sights and people, as she was at coordinating effectively with the hotels and restaurants to make our day trips and stay that much more comfortable. She also adjusted the itinerary as we went along to match our level of comfort and to our pace and requirements. She is both a Cultural and Trekking Guide. Her explanations of Bhutanese culture and religion were comprehensive and fascinating. She led us on treks to temples, through valleys, farms and villages in the various areas we visited. The highlight was the trek to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) after which she also took us up further through mountain paths mainly used by monks and pilgrims to a small lesser-known temple at a higher elevation overlooking Taktsang. The views were amazing and it was a perfect spot to take a rest, before the trek back down, far from crowds below.
Topgay our experienced Driver drove us safely on winding and narrow mountain roads, through fog and snow (Yes, it snowed for 2 days during our trip, nice!). He also had good knowledge of the flora and fauna from his other role as an experienced Trekking guide. He helped us to spot what was probably the last group of Black Necked Cranes left in the Phobjikha Valley as the rest were already on their way back to Tibet.
Thanks so much Tshewang and Topgay, you made it such a memorable trip for us. We will be back to Bhutan with family, and we hope that you will be able to take us out again.

My first time to Bhutan - it exceeded my expectations in all aspects - calming beautiful scenery, centuries old building structures but what gave me the in-depth appreciation of the people, inner beauty, culture and history of Bhutan is the ongoing sharing by our very knowledgeable and professional guide, Mr Sonam Lhendup. Am very grateful to be so well taken care by the kind, caring and patient Mr Sonam and Mr Namgay Thai (driver). I highly recommend the both of them. Bhutan has always been on my husband & I, our travelling bucket list.
In late Dec 2023, we decided to confirm for our trip to Bhutan with Druk Asia SoulTrips after researching through, with a few travel agencies.
Mr. Sangay Dorji from Druk Asia SoulTrips has been very helpful and patient with our queries from the beginning, before we made our decision, all the way until our trip.
We have just returned to Singapore, from our trip to Bhutan, 02 Jun Sun - 08 Jun Sat 2024.
It has been an amazing, fun and memorable 1st trip to Bhutan. The itinerary is fully flexible, catered privately just for my husband and me. We can decide to spend more time or less, at any destination.
Special thanks and appreciation (Kadenchey La !!) to our Informative Crazy Naughty Tour Guide, Ms. Chencho Lham and our Experienced Driver, Mr. Tobgay, who have made our tour in Bhutan, more fun & memorable.

I really enjoyed my time in Bhutan, thanks to Druk Asia. The tour was well organised, there had no been issues with the hotels, and everyone was punctual. We had a mini van for the trip which was very comfortable as it had ample space for us 3. There was a suggested itinerary, but was also customisable. We chose to skip a visit to a museum and substituted it with a hike instead, as we wanted a bit more nature, I liked the flexibility. Most importantly, we had an excellent tour guide, his name is Sonam. He had very good English and was very knowledgeable. He made the visits to the Dzongs and Lhakhangs interesting by telling us stories and the history of the places. It would otherwise have been rather dull as visits to multiple Dzongs and Lhakhangs can get repetitive. Sonam was fun to be with, he cracked jokes now and again and was professional at the same time. He looked after my 76yo mother when we went up Tiger's Nest. He followed behind her and helped to carry water for her, while I was with my husband, as we were all walking at different speeds. Our driver Dorji was also great, he was a good driver and brought us all over Bhutan safely. He kept the van very clean and was never fussed about us going up with our dirty shoes, though we all made sure to brush any excess mud off before getting up the van. I highly recommend Druk Asia if you are planning a trip to Bhutan.

I had an amazing 10 days Bhutan trip with Druk Asia/SoulTrips. From the queries to the booking of the tour, Ugyen was excellent in handling all queries form me.
The 10 days 9 nights were meticulously coordinated and I was greeted at the airport by Dorji, my guide and Thinley my driver. Both became my wonderful travelling companion, engaging me with fascinating landscapes, local culture, religion and food. They ensure that I was well taken care of throughout the trip. Much appreciation to Dorji who share his immense Bhutanese knowledge with me throughout the trip and also ensure my well being and safety especially on the hike to Paro Taktsang. Thanks to Thinley for the safe drive throughout the trip, on the mountain roads and passes.
I could not have asked for more for this trip!

Being our first trip to Bhutan, our guide Tshering Dorji was extremely knowledgeable (& patient) in sharing the rich history & culture of Bhutan, even down to the unique bird/plant species found locally!! We loved the friendly rivalry during archery/darts in our traditional Gho & Kira; not forgetting our adventure at Tiger’s Nest!! 😊

I recently had a fantastic 7-day, 6-night trip to Bhutan with Druk Asia. From booking the trip to the entire journey itself, everything went seamlessly. Sangay promptly addressed all my inquiries prior to the trip, and all the paperwork was completed smoothly. Our guide, Sonam, was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent explanations of the places we visited. Our driver, Dorji, was friendly and ensured our safety on the roads. We were treated to many breathtaking views of Bhutan's scenery. The accommodations arranged were comfortable and clean. I definitely plan to book another trip with Druk Asia in the future for another unforgettable experience in Bhutan!

I had a wonderful and meaningful trip to Bhutan. Our guide not only took care of our practical needs such as lodging, food, and shopping, but also filled our days with laughter through engaging storytelling. Their companionship during the mountainous journey made the time fly by, and we enjoyed discussing various topics including culture and family. I gained invaluable knowledge from Kinley's explanations about the temples, monasteries, and fortresses we visited. It was a true blessing to have the opportunity to see a 600-year-old scripture. This was an unforgettable experience!

Working with Druk Asia has been a pleasure. Although our trip plans began in 2019, we finally made it to Bhutan in 2024. Throughout the Covid pandemic and Bhutan's closure to outside visitors, Ugyen from Druk Asia stayed in touch with us. He even adjusted our itinerary when we couldn't trek as planned due to knee surgery.
Our guide, also named Ugyen, was exceptional. He went above and beyond, even lending us trekking poles delivered by his sister directly to our venue! Our driver, Tenzin, was also fantastic, bringing chili and cheese to our lunch table.
Being side by side with our guide and driver truly made our experience special, and we feel we had a dream team with Druk Asia. We wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

We are from New Zealand and Australia and are planning to visit Bhutan next September. Would you be able to suggest a 10 or 11 day itunerary to includes a few days trekking. Accommodation level can be 3 to 4 star.
