The personnel were friendly and helpful. They obviously love their railroad and are to be commended for keeping it going. I'd have given a lot for a cup of coffee as we had to leave home so early to make the morning run. The wooden...More

Wonderful ride, would be enjoyed by all ages. Enjoy looking at the countryside and then getting to tour the caboose. It was also very educational.

It was good to see and to get a sense of the history and role of Abilene in the development of the USA and the railroad. Train rolled in too - does so on Saturdays apparently. Really good to experience in context.

The Abilene historical train station building has a model train in it, very well done museum. The Steam engine that is available to ride in the cab of is excellently restored. Very friendly volunteer staff

Abilene has a lot to offer, the railroad is a great attraction. The grist mill at the trun around spot along with the old town at the depot make the railroad seems like it goes somewhere, and makes the adventure bigger than it may be...More

I'm sorry, I have no idea as we did not take the train ride. Only visited the museum.
