During my visit to the Pashuptinath, I took time to go to the the river and witness the rituals involved in preparing a body for cremation - and the placing the body on the pyre. It was an extraordinary experience.

This famous ancient shiva temple is visited by thousands of devotees everyday. A high security, huge premise, various on going rituals will amaze you. Due to continuos offerings the premise is bit dirty. Overall impressive & must visit!

Entrance fee for Pashupatinath Temple is Nrs. 1000 (Around US $10) or equivalent convertible foreign currency for the foreigners.
