Seto Macchendranath is a Buddhist temple in Thamel. The entrance is not easy to find, since the entrance gate is under reconstruction. The brilliant building is worth taking a look. Around the temple, there are many pigeons.

Hidden inside a busy crossing in Thamel, this temple was a nice surprise during my visit to KTM. Apparently it wasn't affected by the earthquake and there are many interesting statues. Definitely worth a quick visit.

The temple has nice carvings outside. Eventhough the temple is located a bit away from thamel and takes a good 1 hour walk to get there, i would say its worth the effort
