Had an afternoon in this museum which shows the dresses of major ethnic groups in Nepal. It was good and not very far from lake side Pokhara.

The museum is ok, if you have a time to visit it, otherwise if you are short with time just skip it. There are only couple of rooms, some mountain stories and photos and that's it.

We enjoyed an afternoon at the museum which was well laid out and very informative about the mountains and mountaineering. The photo exhibition sections are really interesting to see especially after going to Everest base camp. We walked from lakeside easily too.

International Mountain Museum is one of the best and informative Museum of the country which can attract its visitor in cultural, historical and mountaineering parts. This museum has been carried the historical and adventured propaganda and give the educational consolidate as well.

The museum was larger than we expected, filled with original mountaineering equipment, cultural explanations of different Nepali ethnicities and included the climbing history of each 8,000m peak. If you're in Pokhara to see Annapurna, this will help you appreciate what you're looking at.
