A very detailed history of the Gurkhas in both the British and other forces. Photos, medals, uniforms etc. etc. Tee shirts and badges at the shop. A must see if you are in Pokhara for any length of time.

You will be amazed to learn the Gurkha history and their ties with British army. Gurkha solders story is written all over the museum. Worth every moment spending here.

Loads of information to read. Museum is a bit 'old' - but still really interesting. Possible to skim read, and get a good history without reading everything. 100 rupees per foreigner for entrance fee. All displays on 3 levels.

In the UK we are all aware of the Gurkhas who have given amazing service to the British army over many years. This museum helps to give the visitor a full understanding of their valour and contribution. Well worth a visit.

This museum has several flours of interesting military history involving the Gurkhas. These highly elite military forces served under the British and were involved in so many military campaigns. There were quite a few regiments and they all had their own distinctive uniforms and interesting...More

Spend a couple of hours here. It is a very interesting museum of the Ghurha regiments and I learned a lot about them. If you have any interest in military history it is definitely recommended.

Admission 200r. A small and worthy museum dedicated to the brave Gurkhas, made more relevant due to the British connection. Not on our tour itinerary but should have been.

This place is a museum. That means it has artefacts such as uniforms, photos, and a few weapons. The geology section of the Natural History Museum in London contains rocks, which hold little interest for me. So I don’t go to that part. I am...More
