Fewa lakeside is always busy and swarming with visitors local and foreigners. A number of restaurants are scattered in the lakeside and finding an accomodation is usually not a problem. Boat rides especially on the 6-8 seaters with peddles are amazing!

Pokhara is only 827 m high from the sea level. So you can not find ice in Pokhara although Sept is season of Ice fall in the Himalaya. But you can enjoy the spectacular Himalaya range as well as boating in Fewa lake. But if... More

With a warm fleece you should be OK. I would try the afternoon when the temperature has risen a little. It will be cold but this keeps the tourists away so it will be quieter at the temple on the lake hopefully.
