This museum is a must see. Their treasures are unbelievable. The building itself is a must see. Bring comfy shoes because there are a lot of steps.

I was not sure I would enjoy the museum. But I found it extremely interesting and was amazed at all of the great contributions that the Taiwanese society has made to the world. The longevity of the society coupled with a hardship and innovation was...More

Nothing really special unless you like rocks and stones. The building is nice and the history behind it. Grounds around building were nice.

Much of the museum was closed for renovations. An exhibit on the stones of Taiwan, which were quite beautiful, and one small area on wildlife. Large sections closed off but only 30NTD entry so no big deal.

Entrance fee NT$30 or you can use your Easycard to pay for it. Displays Taiwan's heritage and history. Well kept and maintained.

It's a lot smaller than you'd think, with just two floors. The exhibits can be finished in under an hour, max, and there's nothing incredible inside. The staff are, at least, very kind and helpful.

The main museum will not be worth the visit if you're unable to read Chinese characters as the displays are abysmal. This is especially so for temporary exhibits. The displays seem disjointed and there is no real theme to the main museum. The dinosaur exhibit...More
