Hot hot hot

This is really a sight to see. You can smell the sulfur from a mile away if you can see the Heat and feel it. Maybe not good on a hot hot day you will walk out sweating

Took the metro to Beitou on a rainy Sunday. The thermal valley was enveloped in steam - creating a very impressive sight. The odor of sulphur is evident but certainly not overpowering. Nice atmosphere throughout the valley with local families enjoying their weekend,

Much smaller than I expected. Very pretty. There was some construction going on the day we were there. It's very busy. Your glasses will steam up!

Beitou Thermal Valley nearest metro station is Xinbeitou. Walkable distance about 10 - 15 mins. Just follow the signs on the road & you will find it quite easily. Inside, you will come to see a hot spring & signs telling you that spring water temperature is extremely high, please do not cross over the barriers. Walking along the hot... More

We came on a slightly rainy day. As a result, the steam coming from the hot spring was immense and thicker than usual. The site itself is small, and usually busy with people. My uncle tells me in the old days, it was possible to walk right up to the springs and boil an egg by holding a spoon over... More

The entire Beitou area is incredible. We had booked a private hot spring in the Grand View Hotel situated at the top of the Beitou thermal valley. From the MRT station (which was aptly decorated and themed after the hot springs) you can walk the short uphill walk up the entire river valley. It's littered with very pretty parks, and... More

Great place and interesting to walk around this area. We ended up walking to a temple high in the hills and had a great time.

Amazing view of how beautiful mother nature is. Free entrance. It can get warm in the area so make sure to have a bottle of water with you.

exciting, just as the hot springs, there are better places to go if you want hot springs. Overexploited and smelly (well, its a sulphurous spring).

The Thermal Valley is much smaller than I expected. We just spent 30 mins there, shot a few photo. We expect to have free foot spring but nothing you can play or enjoy,
