This place usually has some excellent photography exhibitions and one-of-a-kind pop up fashion shops. A couple of lovely cafes mean you can spend a few hours here admiring the modern interiors. A very windy but interesting staircase lead you to the top where the photography exhibitions usually take place. Hopefully more concerts and exhibitions will be added to their calendar.

We left MBK around 12.00 and noticed the Art Centre on the other side on the street and decided to give it a try as it was quite hot and we didn't want to go to another shopping mall. We spent almost 1,5 hours and it was a very nice time. There was an exhibition of the great photographer Sebastião... More

BACC is located right in front of the MBK Market. It has some fun, contemporary art, combined with artsy shops and galleries. During our visit we had the opportunity to see Sebastiao Salgado's temporary exposition.

This is not the best art gallery in Bangkok, that's MOCA btw, but it is the most accessible and free to enter too. It doesn't have any permanent displays, so what is on when you visit is pretty much up to chance. There was a photographic exhibition on when I was there and it was impressive, on a different floor... More

You better run now, because the exhibition of Sebastiao Salgado's photos will not be there long. Enjoy, reflect, think..., and act for humanity!

The building was nice and in the best location with a connection straight from BTS to level 3. But the exibition was on the 8th floor. The special exibition started on Wednesday and we made a visit on the following Saturday. The elevator was under maintenance, the escalator was not working, so we had to walk up.

Probably chose a bad week to go for exhibits, but the building itself is a work of art inside, and a respite from the heat of Bangkok.
