Neighbourhood: Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

Had an awesome experience here. Great views of Bangkok. The roof top bar Sky beach was also a must visit.

Enjoyed this - not the cheapest but an experience we won’t forget. We got there a little later than planned but caught the last of the day light and early evening. The views are amazing and the cool breeze was a welcome change from the heat at street level (it wasn’t cold, just cooler!). No need for a jumper!! We all enjoyed the glass floor - it was busy, but that’s what you get going at what is probably the peak time.

One tip - don’t buy the ticket that includes a bottle of water. It’s not worth it. We pre booked the ticket from the UK and paid the equivalent of 100 baht for each of two bottles of water with our tickets - so 200 baht all in. The same thing would have been 20 baht on the street. If you want a drink when you’re up there buy one on the top deck, find a seat and enjoy it.

We stayed up top for about an hour. But there was a DJ playing tunes, a bar and seating - so we could have stayed longer if it wasn’t for our 10 yo wanting dinner.

Very cool experience! Rooftop sky walk definitely worth doing - walking 314m above the city on a thick layer of plexiglass - test your nerves! Great full bar on roof, have a drink or two and enjoy the 360 view of the city.
Fun elevator ride (and incredibly fast).
Purchase tickets ahead of time on Klook or purchase on site.
We got the drink package (admission plus a drink voucher) - the voucher can be used for soft drinks on the 74th floor - the bar on the 78th (roof) doesn't accept - but does accept cash/card and the prices are reasonable for beer/mixed drinks.
Definitely worth checking out and enjoying the view.

At 314 meters (1030 feet), Mahanakhon is recognized as Thailand’s tallest tower. Purchase a Manakhon Skywalk and Rooftop package that will take you to the 78th floor. You’ll be rewarded with 360-degree outdoor panoramic views that will leave you breathless. Stepping out on the glass tray might also make you gasp! If you prefer staying inside, there is an indoor observation area on the 74th floor. It was cloudy/hazy the afternoon we visited but it didn’t matter – it was an incredible experience, a Bangkok must-do!

- Day 2 (King Power MahaNakhon) roof top glass floor walking was a great experience. It is +314M above ground. Even I am afraid of high ground I still want to give a try. 😜
Cannot take any drinks to the roof top as they have a bar and it is to make sure that visitors use their facilities specially during the day, it will be very hot and must need at least water to keep hydrated.

Great fun!! We didn't book tickets in advance and just turned up when it was nice and clear. All really relaxed at the top, lots of good photos opps and glass tray is a must (although a little scary!).

The view was superb... but the only blemish is just that it was just too overwhelmed with tourists. The queue was long but organized though. Price was a little high for 880Bt, but it was still worthy if u can catch the golden hour.
