Visited this place today. Very nice small gem full of beautiful dollrelated artifacts both from local artists and also dolls and figures from all around the world. It is a small place in an old very local neighborhood. We went by taxi, and fortunately i speak thai, as the taxi driver had no idea where this place was. It helps... More

Such a great place. However it was so hard to find. I would have left with several treasures but they couldn't get connection for Visa. It is a fantastic collection of world wide dolls.

Really! Its little bit expensive but worth it. The dolls have good quality than other dolls i've ever seen in Thailand's Market.

Bangkok Dolls is a little hard to find but definitely worth the effort! It has a small museum which displays a variety of dolls dressed in native costumes. You can see the craftsmen working at the shop as well. We went to purchase a Christmas Nativity doll set after being recommended to the shop by a friend. The shop had... More

I walked from Kho-san road to here, which I would not recommend unless you enjoy walking (which I do) as it is quite a distance and you can get lost easily. I had to ask for directions a few times, but I find that locals in Bangkok are generally nice. I enjoyed the museum for what is was, it is... More

We came for a visit and it was amazing. It's tucked away in a crappy area but its very interesting. Prices are very cheap for handmade dolls, we purchased one. You can see dolls being made, very smart! Get your taxi or tuk tuk to wait for you, also get their phone number and give to taxi or tuk tuk... More

While browsing the internet, I came across a review and information on Bangkok Dolls and knew that we definitely had to visit them. Finding Bangkok Dolls was defiantly not easy, we took a tuk-tuk from near Victory Square and no-body seemed to know where it was or had heard of it, luckily we had their telephone number with us and... I can understand someone not being impressed by the doll collection located in the single, fairly small room of the museum. A person who is a real doll enthusiastic might get more out of a visit especially by spending time watching the dolls being made. On the other hand, I did not find it much poorer than the doll museum... More

Cotton balls and roll to be inserted into the arm. It is not easy for a sewing fingers and five fingers. It is just part of the process, only dolls. It was very... More
