Be careful while you take a taxi from the city center. Taxi takes you outside the city- fortunately the cost was only 500 THB shared for 3 persons. We wasted 1,5 hour (one way) to get to the place where you had to pay at least 1050 THB/ person for a 1 hour trip. We said to the driver and... More

They will cheat your money. Takes pretty long to go with taxi from bangkok. Dont waste your time on this. Go somewhere else for example fashion mall instead.

One of the interesting thing you shouldn't miss in Bangkok. we were very happy with that experience. Along the Canal many souvenir shops and local foods some one making the sea food from the small boats. We tried coconut Ice cream first time in our life)) go and take this experience its worth to visit.

Fantastic. Great experience. Going in a boat stopping at various shops buying souvenirs, materials of local made goods good experience and a sheer joy. People in the shops are very sincere even though found many were bargaining and getting good prices. Even eatablest, beer etc are available. Simply out of the world experience.

I really enjoyed the floating market. It is so rich in culture and visually fun. There is a lot of foods to try (most of it I didn't know what it was but I enjoyed it). It can be crowded but it is well worth the trip.

I and my friend from Belgium and their family went there together. Taling chan floating market is not tourist spot, so if you looking for real floating market that thai people walk and enjoy local food and stuff. This is the place for you .See the real local life . Enjoy the boat tour in cheap price. This floating market... More

I wouldn't waste my money twice to go here. 2000 baht to get there and 3000 for the boat ride. To basically be a captive audience for the trader to sell you exactly the same thing stall by stall. Not a traditional market I was expecting. Lots of clothes you can buy anywhere, tourist souvenir carving etc. very disappointed and... More

A Bangkok taxi driver talked me into going here, great for him as I was paying him by the hour and he did not tell me it was 1.5 hours away. 3 hours of my day wasted in a taxi at my expense. Upon arrival I was then told the boat trip would cost me about $160.00. I negotiated it... More

Watch the taxi drivers they may drive you in circles to get there. But a must see. Incredible food and some shopping too. Alot of locals in a friendly family environment.
