This was one of the most interesting museums I have ever been to. As someone who works in the medical profession, it was very interesting to see the displays of human abnormalities, the section on disease, and the parasitology. There is a section showing actual...More

If you're someone who would like to see mummified bodies, understand gun wounds or discover how human life is formed and malformations (during fetal stages (aka pathology)). Maybe you have an interest for parasitology, anatomy or learn about the 2005 Tsunami. This is the place...More

It's not everyday you get to be less than 1ft away from a mummified body; its skin black, eye sockets sunken and slightly glistening with the paraffin wax it is covered in. The Medical Museum actually comprises 5 (or was it 6?) small museums, three...More

Bangkok Forensic Museum is in fact located in Siriraj Hospital... Dead bodies with different causes of death are well preserved, well dissected, able to see details of internal organs.. This must be the best place for medical or biology professionals!! Highly recommended!!

Last time we were in Bangkok ( December 26-31st) this museum was closed. I'd like to visit again, but don't want to be disappointed re hours. Does anyone know what dates it closes over the festive season? Many thanks
