We went to Pai Spa on a guidebook recommendation and was absolutely happy with the treatment. The spa itself is very nicely decorated and we felt warmly welcomed as soon as the front opened. We had a 2 hours combo massage which included 30 minutes foot reflexology, 1 hour thai massage and 30 minutes of herbal therapy. The 2 masseuse... More

We have had many massage in Asia in different countries... this one was the best. It is a massage school in a 90 years old famous wooden building. We have had a 120 minutes foot, Thai + herbal presses massage ... 6 of 5 points.

I went there because one member of the staff in the hotel were I was recommend it. At first I was a little bit skeptical, but I decided to give a try. It was an amazing experience. Honestly it was one of the best massage that I have ever received. The staff are really professional and they know what they... More

This is the first time I went for a massage. Loved every minute of it. They were so welcoming, and took time to get to know the client. It was relaxed and full on. They were professionally trained and knew how to respond to the body. I would highly recommend to anyone.

This is to place to go in the area. Unlike the dozen or two other options that involve outdoor reclining chairs (and are likely slightly cheaper), this place feels like a special experience. I did the 550 Baht special combo (1/2 hour of reflexology and 1 hour of Thai massage) and it was glorious. You can pay with a credit... More

Lovely interiors- an old Thai style house. Great atmosphere- clean. My therapist- Jin- was excellent. Had a one hour body scrub, pai signature massage and facial. All fantastic. I even fell asleep. Thank you !

I had a traditional Thai massage, it was one of the best I ever had in Thailand. Very relaxing environment, and the masseur was very knowledgeable and professional. Totally recommend.

Here is it! Very special massage in Kaosan area. Yeah, if you don't wanna massage outside, on the road of Kaosan, this shop will be a solution. The sign front of the shop says, "Massage and training centre in an 140-year-old traditional Thai house". I don't know it's true. But they have good skills to make someone's fatigue disappeared. I... Bangkok is not short of every sort and kind of massage you may look for, but if you are looking for relaxation and very professional massage, this is the place to go to. It is located on a quiet end of otherwise very busy street, surrounded by lots of massage places, but comes across as a very different type of... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
