The most important thing for us was not to go to a place that is right next to one of the party places. We wanted to relax. This was absolutely possible in the Pai Spa. Everything was quiet, chilled and had a very special athmosphere. With a tea to begin with, we were in the right mood for 60 minutes... More

I had never had a Thai massage, it was amazing! This place is very lovely, professional and established. I felt very comfortable and taken care of. I did the special, 550 baht for traditional Thai massage plus foot massage. (Little over one hour) Even though it's in the middle of the busiest tourist section, the place is incredibly relaxing and... More

Me and my wife had an absolutely excellent experience. We signed up for a 1hr aromatherapy and back massage and were blown away. These ladies knew what they were doing and we're professionals. And to top it off it was about quite cheap by Canadian standards. Book ahead of time as this is a busy area.

First of all- my review is only for their heritage Thai massages so I can't speak about their treatments or oil massages. Thai massage is supposed to push and pull your body in all kinds of ways, it's supposed to be painful at times when released leaves a lovely feeling of relief but many spas cater towards tourists who don't... We went to Pai Spa on a guidebook recommendation and was absolutely happy with the treatment. The spa itself is very nicely decorated and we felt warmly welcomed as soon as the front opened. We had a 2 hours combo massage which included 30 minutes foot reflexology, 1 hour thai massage and 30 minutes of herbal therapy. The 2 masseuse... More

We have had many massage in Asia in different countries... this one was the best. It is a massage school in a 90 years old famous wooden building. We have had a 120 minutes foot, Thai + herbal presses massage ... 6 of 5 points.

I went there because one member of the staff in the hotel were I was recommend it. At first I was a little bit skeptical, but I decided to give a try. It was an amazing experience. Honestly it was one of the best massage that I have ever received. The staff are really professional and they know what they... More

This is the first time I went for a massage. Loved every minute of it. They were so welcoming, and took time to get to know the client. It was relaxed and full on. They were professionally trained and knew how to respond to the body. I would highly recommend to anyone.

This is to place to go in the area. Unlike the dozen or two other options that involve outdoor reclining chairs (and are likely slightly cheaper), this place feels like a special experience. I did the 550 Baht special combo (1/2 hour of reflexology and 1 hour of Thai massage) and it was glorious. You can pay with a credit... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
