Great experience from the get go. That is to say that you are greeted at the front entrance (to the building, not to the property which is adorned with “Construction site Keep out” signs... ignore them and go around to the side entrances) and escorted...More

We stumbled upon this museum and decided to go in to escape the heat, and it was so good! Definitely recommend getting the audio guide, it would be no good without it. You can tell a lot of money has been put into it, and...More

This had to be the most boring museums I have ever been to. There was practically nothing interesting to see there for me. The exhibitions looked like school projects for elementary students and I bet the kids would find them boring as well. A waste...More

It's a great place to learn the history & culture of Thailand. Modern design & a numbers of interactive exhibitions make it interesting, especially for children

We had a great experience at the Museum of Siam. At our time of visiting, there were 14 different rooms, each with a different interactive display focusing on various elements of Thai history and culture. We found the displays to be very creative, original and...More

Good, quick stop with kids. Nice air-conditioned break from the temples. This museum isn’t “for” kids but they had quite a few rooms/displays that my 8 y/o and 11 y/o enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice snack in their...More

We had no expectations, having heard nothing little about this museum before coming. We were pleasantly surprised to experience a fun, interactive visit! Every room had things to do, including games, dress-up and education! This is not your typical museum visit, and it would be...More

It's a popular museum in Thailand. In the future, there's the train station at this place. But now you must come with your own car or use the taxi. It's just changed theme in a couple of months. The theme is about "what's definition of...More

Interactive, not boring museum which gives you some insight into the thaï culture and history from different perspectives though some figures and historical facts are maybe a little missing. I would not recommend it to those who are looking for a deep insight in thaï...More

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok,
it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn
the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and
most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to
this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off
their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most
spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to
Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around

Unfortunately I haven´t seen anyone to sell in Bangkok. Probably is dificult to find handmade puppets. Maybe you can try in ToyRus, the famous toy´s department store from England. There are in Bangkok too.
