I was lucky enough to be staying at the banyan tree so this was kind of my local I guess! I visited every night of my stay, why would I go anywhere else with this on my doorstep! Firstly the view is staggering, it's easy to just lose yourself staring out into the vast expanse of Bangkok high rises. You... More

We arrived about 9pm Monday night, there was no room to sit down - so we took a few photos and left. Visit if you are nearby, don't make a special trip unless you get there early. Awesome views from the 61st floor.

Decided on going to Moon bar over Sky Bar due to the good reviews about it being hassle free experience and not cramped up at the top. We originally planned to go for drinks on a whim we asked about food and was sat down with possibly the best view Moon bar has to offer. We had a starter and... More

Ir is worthy to have a drink and enjoy music and view. Great service. Good cocktails but a bit overpriced.

A friend recommended this bar to us, after we left Sky Bar disappointed, we thought we would give Moon Bar a chance. We were so pleased that we did, it has fantastic views, just as good as Sky Bar. The drinks weren't shocking prices, about 400 BTH per cocktail which was about £8, which is what we're used to paying... More

The view is amazing! Its definitely visiting this bar just for the view. I think this is the 5th tallest building in the area. The bar was very nice. Drink were approximately 10-15 euros each. They had classic cocktails and also their own signature cocktails. We tried 4 different ones and they were all great. They ahve light up menus... More

The views are fantastic which is why we went here. Go on a Sunday at 5 when it first opens and stay for the sunset. You get your choice of seats and the service is great. The cocktails are costly ($16 US) but think of it as the price for a fantastic view. Well worth it.

Beautiful bar, grea views, and nice service. Expensive drinks but worth the experience. We've been there at night but I am sure it's equally beautiful at sunset. Quite an experience

Great service, beautiful bar with great views. Bit pricey but nice enough to go for a drink. There was a live jazz band playing and ambiance was lovely.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
