Soi cowboy is a much smaller street than I expected. Worth checking out for a few drinks and entertainment. It's basically a strip of bars and clubs/strip clubs. We spent a few hours bar hopping here and had a good time.

We have done the Walking Street in pattaya and find this to be more our scene. It's smaller and not so aggresive - that's our take on it.

Soi Cowboy is a bit more safer and easier place to go than Nana Plaza. Here you can just hang around and have a beer without somebody constantly approaching you with other services. The street itself offers large seating areas where you can just sit down and watch Bangkok's night go by. Of course, Soi Cowboy also offers other things... More

Soi Cow boy is in Sukhumvit area near Terminal 21. This is a small street as compared to Nana Plazza or patpong area. But it is worth a visit as there r still good number go go bars, pubs with good music. The street gets wild after 11PM and it is open till 3PM. Can spend some 1 hour here.

One of the most famous streets in Bangkok so well worth a look. Yes it is a Red Light District with lots of Go Go Bars, so not suitable for children.

It is a very small street located very close to BTS Asoke and MRT Sukhumvit stations and it is filled with Go Go bars starting with Baccara on the Soi 23 end and ending with Country Road on the Soi 21 end.The place is fully lit up with glowing Neon Signs and filled with girls in bikinis and School girl... A rather dated over rated seedy place. It was a lot better when I first went there in 1982. .Now just a noisy seedy place. But I guess it may be a " must see" place for ome travellers.!

Well, this is definitely not a place for family goers! It mainly caters those "Adventure seekers" or lonely foreign men in Bangkok. It was just a 150m streets with red..... colourful lights and not forgetting the "Boom Boom" effect from the speaker as you walk pass by those pubs.

The soi cowboy is not as big as the walking street in pattaya or even patong Beach but I will rate it above pattaya because of good experience.. It is very easy to locate and street itself is only few 100m long.. You can even count the no of Go go bars here.. But bar girls here are better. I... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
