We were in Bangkok for a couple of nights and decided to go see some Muay Thai fights. We had a great time and the fights were exciting and fast paced. Highly recommended!

The stadium is full of energy. The fighters go at it hard for the full clock and having fun at the same time. This was tons of fun to watch.

Very good organised, perfect for families with young kids as well. They totally promote the athletic spirit, great opportunity to see mhuai Thai from professionals. A sure thing to do while visiting Bangkok

Went one night with a group of friends. It was surprisingly fun and great vibe even for a picky person who had no idea about muay thai like me. Mostly are foreigners there which could be visiting for a new experience. Good security system and staffs. Nice and clean toilets (at least when I was there). Unfortunately, there's still some old tradition you need to follow there but one of the guards supports you if you wouldn't want to follow. Kudos to her/him!! It could also help you bond with new ppl or friends. Love it

We were watching a muay thai evening where Xavi González fought and it was spectacular. The organization was perfect and the staging of the event unbeatable. We will repeat without any doubt.

I arrived at BKK airport on Saturday. On my way into Bangkok, I saw a billboard for Rajadamnern stadium. I went on line and it saw they had a fight on Saturday.
I arrived at the stadium and bought a ring side seat. This was my first time I had been to a muy thai fight, so i was not sure what to expect. The inside of the stadium is magnificent, it look like something you would see on HBO or pay per view fight. No matter where you sit, you will get a good view of the fight.
SinceIi was ringside, I had a great view of the action. The fight were all good, non stop action. During one of the fights, a fighter knocked out an opponent with a flying knee and I jumped out of my set. All the fight were good, even the very last fight with the young ladies. I had a great time and the staff there were very nice. At one point I asked where do i buy water and the lady usher walked me to the beverage counter.
If your ever in Bangkok you need to go see a fight at this stadium.

Watching Muay Thai in Thailand has been a dream for years and I finally got a chance to do it! This stadium is incredibly energetic, incredibly clean (the cleanest stadium I've ever been in!), and easy to see the action even if you're not sitting front and center. They had free beer the night I was there and extremely cool fights.
The fighters also take photos with fans after - see Karnkaew photo here. Must-see if you're in Thailand!

My experience is it went late into the evening, about midnight. But it was ‘fight of the year’ and there was a few speeches and lucky draw.

A few questions about this attraction.
1. What night is best to visit? Are weekends better atmosphere?
2. Is there a website where you can pre-book tickets?
3. Do you have to watch all bouts or can you turn up for last 3 or 4 bouts?

It's always high energy because so e if the top boxers and their promoters are here. They're only open on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting from about 6:30pm. You can buy tickets at the box office, but there will be ticket scalpers ready for tourists. We went the safe route and just purchased it online; be sure to print your e-ticket to present at the ticket booth. Outside food/ drink isn't allowed, but there are censure around who will bring beer etc right to your seat so you don't miss a minute of the action. Go for the early matches if you're unfamiliar with the sport to get a feel of the rules etc; match intensity varies with weight catergory and you'll see the ones to look out for in your pamphlet.

I've bought tickets for my son and I for July. I can't see an age restriction anywhere but he's 15 (6 foot though!) ...will that be a problem? Has anyone that has been seen children there?

We have been there, but arrives 30 minutes late. Nobody checked us for anything, just showed the receipt (from hotel as we bought the tickets from hotel tour stand) and they took us to our places.
