I visited this place for the first time with family of two kids. I got few queries from my gal why the ladies in the bar wear only bikinis.

After experiencing the markets in Patong we were very disappointed in the patpong markets. Very small and not a lot of stock. No one wanted to sell to us. Where are all the good markets in Bangkok??

This market has a good selection of everything here. If you are shopping for knock offs there are many different qualities. Make sure you look around before deciding because there are some excellent and some not so good knock offs. Don’t barter for price u...More

The Patpong Night Market is famous for its array of counterfeit goods. But the place is tiny, prices are high, and shopkeepers short-tempered, and all that while you're bombarded with offers of ping-pong and sex shows from the sides. Avoid going there with kids. In...More

People go to Patpong either for go go girls and girlie bars, or for the market which sells everything, from clothes, to watches and suitcases. One tip, the starting price they quote (in case you a first time customer) is at least double of what...More

Used to be a place to find bargain deals and some cool souvenirs.... today it is all about ripping you off, every stall has the same merchandise. The bars next door are packed with drunk people, the hostesses are desperately trying to sell you ping-pong...More

I went and strolled the market and bought a few things. I then went into the show without reading these reviews. Major mistake. I was treated nicely and got my drink. Then a few shows later the friendly lady that brought me the drink came...More

Okay, so when I reason TripAdvisor that Patpong market is amongst the top 10 or 20 of things to do in Bangkok, well, I don’t get it. If what you like is bad smelling fake products, counterfeits and scams this is the place for you....More

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions,
this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many.
Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi
Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the
plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a
night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's
worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers
on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
