About
The BTS Skytrain is one of the most efficient ways of getting around Bangkok, with over 60 stations across three lines. Avoid the infamous Bangkok jam and hop on the train—it stops by loads of major tourist attractions like Chatuchak Weekend Market, Lumpini Park, ICONSIAM and the Jim Thompson House Museum. Depending on how long you'll be in Bangkok, you can get a single journey ticket, a one-day pass, and a rechargeable Rabbit stored value card. But note that the tickets and passes are not valid on the subway (MRT) or Airport Rail Link (ARL). – Tripadvisor

    Affordable
An affordable and expansive way to get around the city, and it's also a great stress-buster! I like to hop on the train and just people watch, or take a nap and relax. Plus, the scenery is beautiful! The stations are clean and the staff are friendly, so it's a great experience overall. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a stress-busting, affordable, and expansive way to get around Bangkok.

Air conditioning in Bangkok - that's a dream!
THE way to get around in Bangkok. Fast, reliable, inexpensive and easy to figure out. If you're in Bangkok for a length of time buy the Rabbit card and load it up with 1,000 ThB. You'll be glad you did.

Sky trains Bangkok, cool and comfortable
The sky train is an ideal choice to travel when in Bangkok. It is cheap efficient and punctual but always crowded and so you prepare to stand and stare at the crowd and the outside scenery. It also connects the Aero link and make your journey memorable. Better you get a day ticket which is cheap and convenient if you want to visit many places. I would say it is the best way of getting to places in Bangkok

    Easy to use
The BTS Skytrain and MRT was the most convenient way to move around the key metro areas. Tickets can be purchased used coins or notes (preferred would be to carry coins). BKK rail app would be used to assist with fare.

The best way to get around Bangkok
Fast, clean, safe, and cheap. Choose your hotel to be within a 5 minute walk of a station and you can avoid the infamous taxi and tuk tuk scams. Maps and ticket purchases are also in English. There is 1 ticket machine per station with an English option and cash payment. This is easy to use. 1. Choose English in the top corner of the screen 2. Tap the screen near your destination station and then tap the station name. 3. Identify the number of tickets. 4. Feed a sufficiently large Thai banknote into the machine to pay. Your tickets and change will be provided. 5. Tap your card to enter and go up the stairs on the side of the last train station of your journey. Keep your ticket, as you will need it to exit.

    Best public transport option
No traffic jams, all well marked and instructed, trains are convenient and efficient even when the city is smashed by heavy downpour. People talk English at the counters, you need to only be careful that sometimes are run with different operators and tickets are not same. Airport line and the rest. Really recommend

BTS is fast and convenient way to get around Bangkok
The BTS is a very convenient way to get around Bangkok. We stayed in Sukhumvit area in easy reach of Asok and found it pretty easy to get around. Buying a day ticket or multi day ticket is the way to go to save time purchasing tickets for each trip.

    BTS = Magic Carpet Ride
It will be daunting. You will get turned around. But if you do get lost, no need to panic. You will find a map, an app or someone who can help. Remember, it’s an adventure for you and try to keep fear at bay. Bangkok is safe day or night. I advise you to get your own BTS card at the office located inside any BTS station - just take ten minutes and show your passport there. Save yourself the frustration of buying individual tickets. The turnstiles will flash the balance on your card every time you go through so you’ll know when to top it up. The BTS is a magic carpet ride to so many attractions in this city. Enjoy!

BTS Bangkok is a life saver for tourist in Bangkok. Use it extensively and unapologetically. Prices are reasonable and the cooling in the trains is the best I have been in any Metro anywhere in the world. Staff are polite at the customer service and very helpful. Will highly recommend everyone to use it more as part of your Bangkok tour experience. It’s a real life saver from the horrendous traffic.

The system is very easy to use especially if you use the pre paid Rabbit Card, to save you buying an individual token.
Quick, clean and reliable.

As a business traveler, navigating Bangkok's notorious traffic can be a major source of stress. The BTS Skytrain completely changed the game for me. It offers a convenient, fast, and surprisingly comfortable way to travel between key business districts. The air-conditioned trains were a welcome respite from the heat, allowing me to arrive at meetings refreshed and focused. With its frequent service and clear signage, I was able to rely on the BTS to get me where I needed to be on time and stress-free.

A bit worried about how to use the system but staff and public so lovely and helpful it wasn't a problem. Trains themselves spotless, quiet, respectful and on time with clear signage inside and speaker messages.

Probably the more effective and efficient way to travel in bangkok due to the traffic. Like most asian subway systems, it’s clean
