Neighbourhood: Chatuchak
Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it, Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for a good price. After a day of shopping and strolling around, the lush green lanes of Chatuchak Park are a welcome relief.

Worth a visit, avoid taking kids
Jul 2021
Definitely worth a visit to experience Bangkok, however you can easily get lost in the endless rows of shops.

Definitely avoid taking kids! It’s too crowded, hot and stuff.

I think better shopping experience elsewhere, eg Terminal 21 where you get similar types of items.

Food wise, lots of selection from your mango ice-cream, to fish cakes and curries. Again, worthwhile to try but you can also get the same else where.

Popular and cheap flea market in Bangkok
Oct 2021
Chatuchak Market is one of the largest flea markets in Bangkok There is a wide variety of goods, e.g., clothes, second-hand clothes, shoes, bags, foodstuffs, plants and home furnishings. This market is an outdoor market, so during the day, it is quite hot. Generally, people come in the evening (around 16:00) and the market is very busy, especially on holiday.
Product prices generally range from very cheap to very expensive. It depends on the store and the sales zone.So it's a good idea to walk around and check the prices from the stalls lining the market first for the price you are satisfied with. Also, in the market there are ATM and bank services. It is very comfortable.

JJ Market used to be a crowned place full of people hangout and buying stuffs, but these days, less people and less stores. I used to come here often to brought some clothes, shoes, and pets because of Covid people have to stay safe. Hope to come here again soon.
