I was at Chatuchak today - go for 9 am as both crowds and heat were daunting by one pm. Much of the merchandise is for the tourist trade and is redundant. Once in a while you stumble on a stall that is unique and exquisite. Such was the case with the stall of a lovely and talented seamstress named... More

sooo big. yes, there is everything, and it is interesting. better bargains at smaller markets all throughout the city. Inside pretty But go and see and experience. pets were fun, but felt a bit sad for them--they are in air-conditioned stores. Bought my son a backpack. Ripped within first week. LOL

Umm not very much. We visited here on sunny hot Sunday, it made us so tired! Took a look some glasses, wooden kitchenware, cute soap and fruits... they are all good, but I didn't buy anything. If you like to get a lot of gift for your family and friends, it’s worth visiting.

For people like us that are always curious what the famous Thai creativity brings to market, this is a place to go. Prices here are as low as they get unless you go large volume wholesale. The variety of sections and the great food stalls outside of the market and the little eateries throughout the market allow us to stay... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Chatuchak
Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it, Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for a good price. After a day of shopping and strolling around, the lush green lanes of Chatuchak Park are a welcome relief.
