Koalas, elephants, zebras and pandas are just some of the 1,600 animals on display in this fairly well-maintained zoo. The zoo also boasts large green spaces and a pond with paddle boats.

About half of the area of the main zoo smelled quite bad, and it was the sea lion habitat. They were huddled together in the half-shady part of their enclosure in forty degree heat on a very sunny day. It was very sad to see...More

The whole place seemed rather rundown overall, with a lot of old buildings around. Animals are generally kept in captivity and most of them are asleep or lying there hence it might be hard to spot. I'd say the highlight is the acrobatics show by...More

A generally pleasant zoo. All animals seemed happy and well cared for. I found the primates particularly fun to watch.

I've been to a few zoos in Asia, I was really expecting better after what I had read about this place but found it a little underwhelming. Animals seemed to be well cared for and the place was clean but layout and presentation could have...More

The zoo is central and good for a afternoon out - and a cheap entry price. The zoo does not allow you to interact with the animals unlike most other zoo's in Thailand. The animal conditions are not the best and that typical of an...More

This zoo is situated in the city center and is the oldest one in Thailand. As a consequence, the enclosures are too small for the animals who seem a bit sad. However, they are currently doing some renovations so I hope this will increase the...More

Not a big fan of Zoo, but I really didn't appreciate this place. Touristic trap, bad animals conditions.

It's not one of the best zoo in world but still very good quality. If you compare the price they charge, it's actually very good. You can Lions, Tiger, Penguin, Giraffe, Elephant and other animals. Good for kids.

Dusit Zoo is located within the Royal Property Area. The zoo is looked like a zoo in park, within the heart of Bangkok, surrounded with the Royal Palce and the Royal Thai Pariment House. So nice and peaceful.

When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd
almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city.
The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens
wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and
the serenity here is in stark contrast with the
chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit
is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the
rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit
