I am reviewing this in February having walked past every week for a very long time. Thankfully I can now walk the street between soi 3 and 33 without too much hassle. Previously there were vendors taking up much needed pedestrian space. It was always difficult to walk because inconsiderate vendors persisted in selling on both sides of the pavement... More

This night market takes you from the big Terminal 21 mall through the Indian quarter and into the Arab quarter with all the shops, food and market stalls to match. Better than Patpong. Great spot to people watch.

I love walking and enjoying the street food at Sukhumvit. They are delicious. Not a very clean place but food are excellent. Too many people come and eat and it is difficult to keep it always very clean. Very crowded and it is understood why they are popular when you taste the food. They are deliciously prepared. I always take... More

The place becomes very busy after dark, stalls are quickly popping up alongside the Nana BTS green line and it stops in the Arabic district nearby. Strolling around is safe and people are working hard to sell their goods. You can buy almost every conceivable cheap tourist item (hats, sandals, T-shirts, watches, sunglasses, bags ...) including stuff like male energy... More

Walked along thinking we were in for some bargains, not as busy as we had read it would be, market only seemed on one side of the road. Went to patpong the previous night and that was busier with more stalls ect. That said they sell all similar things bags wallets belts DVDs sunglasses ect so if u have something... More

At around 7 a night, the street stalls appear. The more you look, the more things you will see. Prepare to garden, with a smile on your face. A few vendors are deaf, but a little bit of bargaining can be fun but don't push too hard. They are nice people. The Government are thinking of closing them down. I... More

I visited Bangkok early October and the market is cleaned up. In the middle there is some kind of control post which I assume is there to make sure nobody set-up shop in the night.

On Sukhumvit road between Asoke and Nana you find the Sukhumvit Street Night Market. It's starting to get serious after 7 p.m. every night. It's crowdy, busy and attracts a lot fo different people. Here you find clothes, electric items, dvds, watches and toys and much more.Be prepare to bargain, it's a must here.

sukhumvit from nana to asoke strong RLD . rest of sukhumvit is 50/50. I suggest for 1st time travellers not to stay between soi-3 to soi-22 in Sukhumvit road. Rest is up-to you. Thanks.
