Tourists never go here, but you should Because this shows you the other side of Thai buddhism. Thai people are very superstitious that’s why they go for amulets, statues, etc. You can find really nice souvenirs to bring home. You must bargain, it’s part of...More

We got a couple of souvenirs here at OK prices. But there aren't really a lot of vendors or a lot of activity. Not worth going out of your way for.

Apparently, this has been moved from its original site so, has perhaps suffered from being evicted from its established area. The "market" is very sanitised and dull with, little to recommend it. Very little to see and, extremely dull.

Millions and millions of amulets and a spattering of other odds and ends. Nice to wander through. There are many individual vendors located in a warren of mazes in a building that looks like it’s going to fall apart.

An amazing array of ..... amulets! Stall after stall of them. Very quiet when we were there. A curiosity to walk through, but you have to be really into amulets to find it very interesting.

Tucked in a few narrow lanes on a road from Khaosan to grand palace, this curious market specialize in various amulets of mostly religious purpose. Definitely for ones deeply into religion or dedicated collectors.

I ended up here accidentally, like all great adventures, it's often the things you don't set out to see that amaze you. The shop after shop of the different amulets is impressive, after about 20 minutes though your eyes glaze over and they all start...More

This market is good to walk around and see the amulets. It was very crowded and I would had liked to have known more about the items on sale to take home as meaningful gifts but there wasn’t enough room to loiter and ask. You...More

This market is popular with locals combing through the thousands of tiny amulets to find just the right one. There are many tiny food stalls as well, in addition to sellers of traditional medicines and other interesting items. If you go early, you will see...More

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok,
it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn

this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off
their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most
spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to
