It's a great place for kids as the two tram rides are informative and it's fascinating to see how excited Asian people, particularly Chinese, over kangaroos and emus! More than tigers!

Our last visit was better. Not too many animals. The guide on board the trams tried to be as informative as possible and speak Thai, English and Chinese. It could pass as an enjoyable night but not spectacular. It was drizzling on the night we...More

Very good although a bit rushed.. Train ride through zoo didnt really stop enough to get good photos. Being able to feed the giraffes was great but again too rushed and no good photo opportunities

This place has some good points but overall its just average. I'd recommend doing the bus/ train first time when it's not dark otherwise you won't see much at all. The walk around the park in the dark on the jungle walk doesn't do to...More

Foreigners pay 800 baht, Thais 200. Hmm, what if we did that in USA?! A revolution would take place for sure. But maybe that 800 baht is justifiable for what you get... wrong again! Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy the following...More

It's rain season, I understand that some animals need to be protected for health reasons, this is actually commandable. But at 800 for adults and 400 per children (twice the price than asked for Thais, BTW), 2 times 20 minute train rides felt a little...More

The rest of the tour included sitting on trams and been taken through the park. Most of the animals seemed health and had large areas. The deers and pigs free free to roam and could be fed, which was fun.

I agree, not environmentally great. I heard that it is great, though, compared to the Zoo, which we didn't go to. We thought it was pretty much a huge hype with lots of neon.
