Great alternative to night markets and the walking street!
First up, the vibe of One Nimman is superb. From the outside, it looks like a historical European building with a clock tower. Once inside, it is brimming with a wide selection of good food and shopping. If you go when there's a courtyard fair, the place will be decorated with fairy lights and unique stalls in the al fresco area - very charming. Towards the food hall at the back, 'live' music from buskers lifts the mood and creates a laid back bohemian vibe. Food wise, there are instagrammable coffee shops, michelin starred restaurants, as well as a collection of stalls selling local and fusion food in the food hall. For shopping, there's everything from fashion to jewelry, eco-friendly products to toiletries and makeup, and a huge indoor upscale flea market on the second floor where you get the night market and walking street experience, but in the comfort of air conditioning. The range of products here is of comparable quality to what you'll see along the Sunday walking street. Adjourning One Nimman is a Japanese themed collection of restaurants, cafes and shops, as well as large mall, Maya. If you're in Chiang Mai, definitely come to One Nimman and check out the surrounding area as well.

    Hip space
One Nimman is Chiang Mai's answer to the global trend of industrial-style dining and shopping space. The hip mall, with a European outlook, includes some distinctive eateries and boutiques in town. The vibe is particularly bustling with live music.

    Good
The commercial center boasts stunning European-style architecture, with a well-maintained and tidy interior. Inside, you'll discover an array of fashion boutiques and souvenir shops to explore. Additionally, there's a compact food court within the center, and you'll find numerous cafes and restaurants in the nearby vicinity, providing you with plenty of dining options.

This is built as an event space for different kinds of activities/celebrations and there are lots of open spaces. The architecture of the building is very European and lots of nice spots for photo taking.

There are also quaint cafes, restaurants and little shops here.

It is an ideal place to spend a couple hours to relax and unwind.

This is a beautifully architected area that has numerous shops, cafes and restaurants within its confines.

It has a European style to it and is unlike anything I have seen in Thailand. There is a flea market Monday and Tuesday from 4 pm onwards.

The vibe is Hi-So meets Hipster.

One Nimman is quite a hip place to hang out in the evening, there's local performances, local Thai cuisines both indoor and outdoors, local handicrafts and shops. There's auite a fair bit to see especially some of the local handicrafts. Good window shopping destination. Around One Nimman, there are other shops and restaurants where you can try good local Thai food

My family stay in Onimman Hotel near this place and I thinks this is a good idea when we stay here. One Nimman is a very excited place which many kind of food and shop. You can find good and reasonable price restaurant here. One mimman have a famous restaurant have Michelin star name Kiew-Kai-Ka where you can eat local food of Chiang Mai as my pictures below, it take my family 3000 Bath for four people. You should go early if you don't want to wait. For shopping you can find many kind of traditional gifts of Thailand here. You can check in here with many kind of photos

There is 2 parts to this visit.

First the down stairs is a great experience, it has turned into One of Chiang Mai’s top photography destinations with a majority of Chinese people taking pictures next to walls, shops, stairs, windows, benches, corridors and about anything else with an architectural line to it.

There is many trendy restaurants and unique high end type boutique shops.

Unfortunately they’ve managed to strategically plant make-shift seller booths in the middle of the most photographic viewpoint, the Grand corridor including a Kiosk for Poo poo paper items.

The next part is the visit upstairs. It is a one way serpentine maze with no exits till the end. You are literally trapped and forced to walk thru every shop. The entrance escalator is up only, with no way down till you’ve walked the entire upstairs. Even the doors lock shut behind you once you’ve entered.

My experience going upstairs was a feeling of anxiousness nervousness, stress and anger. The focus on looking at any of the shops or items was overshadowed with my feeling to just escape and get out.

The downstairs restaurant though, Ginger Farm is one of my favorite places to eat. Excellent and very fresh.
