I visited Wat Karam last year, I thought then as I do now that it is the most interesting museum in Chiang Mai. The museum has an extensive collection of every day items including photographs of Chaing Mai. Unfortunately the bicycle shed which has a...More

A beautiful working temple, this temple is dedicated to the spirit of dogs, and thus has some dog statuary around. The temple includes a museum of sorts, which includes a hodge-podge of artifacts.

This is an interesting, ornate, and well maintained facility. It's easy to become overwhelmed by the number of temples in Chiang Mai but this one is across the Ping River from the old city and was quiet with only a few visitors when I went....More

I love the elegant roof and the beautiful architecture of this small temple (relative to some massive ones). The museum is rich in artefacts. It is on the street full of chic cafes, shops and old houses well preserved.
