The Ratchaphruek Flower Gardens are a must-see when visiting the Chiang Mai area. The expansive gardens are incredibly picturesque. Bike rentals are available and, for less active travelers, an electric bus is available to take you around.

It is a huge park with very beautiful gardens. One can easily stay here for more than three hours just basking at the different gardens. We mostly enjoyed walking around the international garden exhibitions and enjoying the soothing music that some of them have.

An open air, hop-on/hop-off tram takes visitors around the lovely park. It's beautiful, but we were there on a very hot day and it was too hot to fully enjoy walking about the gardens.

Yes I think they are but check out their web-site. I allowed a good 4 hours for the visit which proved plenty of time including taking masses of photos.
