The Ratchaphruek Flower Gardens are a must-see when visiting the Chiang Mai area. The expansive gardens are incredibly picturesque. Bike rentals are available and, for less active travelers, an electric bus is available to take you around.

It was a challenge to get ourselves to the park due to the high temps but we went. As suggested by another reviewer here, we decided to take the free tram to initially tour the entire gardens then re-visit areas that we thought would be interesting for a more detailed visit. The Orchid garden was a definite stand out. I'm... More

The weather was hot and most of the flowers and trees in the park were sadly wilted except for a few plants. Hardly anything in the butterfly farm and you have to wait for quite a while to board another tram after getting down from one to explore the place.

This is a wonderful floral park for spending a couple of hours just wandering and enjoying the beauty. The orchids in particular were divine.

Lovely garden with many permanent structures from the Agriculture Expo in 2003. Netherlands exhibit with the windmill is very interesting. Lovely hilltop building with paintings inside of the life of the King. Area is nicely landscaped. There is a hop on hop trolley that circles the park.

Rented bikes and rode through park to the various displays of flowers as well as the many structures scattered around the park. Impressed by the building displaying the photographs as a tribute to the deceased King.. Travelled here by Red Truck and had the driver wait for us. Spent 3 hours here.

While in Chiang Mai my friend and I decided to visit the Royal Park to fill a spare day. We arrived and were told that the entry fees were higher than what was advertised on their website which was a bummer, but we decided to go in anyway as we had just payed quite a bit for the taxi ride... More

The gardens are over a very wide area, there are trolley people movers with guides to drive around, or if you like a bicycle. The temple is going through renovation, but we spent more time in the stunning orchid location. There are gardens set up from many countries that you can also explore. Worth a stop, and best to look... More

Not manage to see the beauty of Flora Park. Most of the areas were under construction, even the Royal Palace. A Tram service was provided. From the entrance to the garden. Hope to the construction will be completed on my next visit. Surrounded by nature, definitely will be a beauty park. Some exotic plants were seen as well.

This park is an incredible garden to visit, it is huge and when you first enter you think it might never end. It has changed quite a lot since its early days, although it is still quite an impressive place to visit. The site is very beautiful with many exotic plants and little gardens. In the centre of the park... More
