Their are some in expensive carvings and trinkets sold here. One can spend 2 hours shopping as there are so many shops. Nice little restaurant on the second floor. Great food, slow service. lol

Well worth the trip to this famous woodworking village outside of Chiangmai where you can find many unusual souvenirs and decorative items for your home

Village full of artists and craftsmen all skilled in the art of woodworking. Many stalls selling beautifully carved pieces from small keyring style items to giant carvings of elephants and other thai cultural items.
