Great history

Went on an wet day. Shame as it was too misty to see the views from the temple. We spent 4 hours walking around and have over 100 photos. Good to learn about the history. We will... read more

This was just like all the other temples I saw in Thailand, except more crowded. Sure it's beautiful, but there are so many other temples that are beautiful AND peaceful.

It was a pleasure to visit the temple, and also to go to the City on the top. The temple is very easy to see and interesting by all ages.

We decided to Uber to the zoo (90 baht) and then take a shared red taxi up to the temple (40 baht), which was the cheapest combination we've encountered. It's a very winding road uphill for half an hour so pack some pepto! The Doi Suthep temple itself is stunning and the view of the city below is spectacular, but... More

We paid 600 bht to a red taxi in the street to take us to Wat doi suthep. It's a 30 or 40 minutes 16km drive up the mountain. When getting there, there are buddah statues between the trees and a Long stairs up to the mountain temple and an entry fee of 30bht. Up on the temple there is... More

I visited within a group of 7. There is something there to capture everybody's interest. The architecture is beautiful, the sights from the mountain are fabulous. It's quite strenuous walking up the many steps to the temple but worth it. You can spend as little or as much time as you want there - it's very relaxed and you can... More

It was the first time I arrive in Thailand. I tried to ride a motorbike to enjoy Doi Suthep, it was amazing with stunning sightseeing on the road. Fog covered everywhere hence I always turn on the light of motorbike (truth: I do not know to turn off the light :D). On the main pagoda, we had to turn off... More

Due to many tourists so it was not easy to keep the floor clean. There were so many tourists during the time I visited and it was not so easy to get a good picture there.

One of the popular spot which you should visit at least once. Nice and beautiful temple which you can choose to climb the stair or take the lift.
