Awesome experience, never been to a zoo with such close interactions with the animals in America. Highly recommend it. Take the tour bus to cut down on talking. It's much bigger than you would think.

It was located in mountains but the weather was still hot. A lot of animals were not available to see. The transportation through the zoo was good. They charge you again in aquarium, kids water park, animals show and panda station.

Wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. It’s very clear the animals aren’t 1. looked after properly 2. In any way happy I wish I hadn’t given my money to fund this place.

The animals all look like they’re starving, I don’t know the business side of things but I hope they can recycle some things in order for the animals to get more resources they do desperately need. They all look depressed which really ruined my zoo...More

Chiang Mai Zoo is better as a garden than as a Zoo. After losing its great attraction, a CNX born Panda, the Zoo lacks any attraction and is poorly presented.

It was a rainy day, but me and fam didn’t come too Chiangmai often, so we want to see Panda. Fortunately, both of them are awake and sooo cute! We love them. Linhui, walk nearby and look straight to my camera! What a day!😍😍

We visit at night and the organisation is good. My wife and I spent a whole night there. The visit is exciting. There are trains provided and the tour is excellent.

We visited the Zoo about four years ago - it had greatly improved since then. The exhibits at the front have been updated and attractions have been added, such as feeding the porcupines, groundhog, and goats. You can also continue on and feed the hippos...More

It's THB 150 per person for the non-Panda tickets and if you include the Panda zone, then it is THB 100 more per person. If you are taking your own car inside, you need to pay THB 75 extra.
