This place has some real highlights. Hippo feeding, panda exhibit, African animals. But then large portions of it are just closed or completely run down. Overall it was worthwhile, I’d just love to see them invest in making this place great again.

Took me and my boyfriend and mother in law about 5 hours to get around the whole zoo! It’s extremely large and a lot of people were driving around it instead of walking,a lot of hills so wear comfortable walking shoes! You have to pay...More

This is a medium sized and pretty undistinguished (in my opinion) zoo, but it was well kept with nice enclosures. Of course the panda was the star!

A big zoo with lovely animals. Although you are asked to pay extra for certain areas ( e.g. the pandas and aquarium), it is a good place to spend a day.

Though we have spent a nice four hours here, it is a pity that you see this was once a very beautiful zoo which has lost its glory. The highlight is the aquarium, but one need to pay extra to enter. Another highlight for me...More

My husband and I went to the Chiang Mai Zoo in the morning, which I highly recommend because it’s cooler and you’ll have a better chance of seeing the animals be more active. We saw lots of animals and had a wonderful time. I recommend...More

It's THB 150 per person for the non-Panda tickets and if you include the Panda zone, then it is THB 100 more per person. If you are taking your own car inside, you need to pay THB 75 extra.
