Waited years to ride an elephant, tried to research a really good park.

It was not exactly what I read in the Yogi Mahout web page. We had to change into our Mahout clothes in a dank, dirty out house in some village. According to my booking, I was... read more

Don't go to this place if you have any respect for elephants. The people that run this place are cruel to the elephants. They hit them and poke them. We were supposed to wash and play with a baby elephant. What it amounted to was the punk yelling and pulling the elephant so it would lay down in the water.... More

It was not exactly what I read in the Yogi Mahout web page. We had to change into our Mahout clothes in a dank, dirty out house in some village. According to my booking, I was suppose to make a salad, get mahout training before taking my ride. I also had a raft ride included ( it was fantastic), but... More

I'm going to review yogi mahout on the quality of the tour rather than on the ethics of elephant riding. We were picked up on time from our hostel. We arrived at the office where we waited in an air con lounge and were given water. We were then brought to a market for breakfast and onto the encampment. We... More

I love elephants! Not worth it. Abuse and poor conditions. Ended up in tears to start off because the mahout was jabbing and kicking at the elephant for no apparent reason. I decided to not ride the elephant after seeing the mistreatment. With my decision the mahout decided to ride off with the elephant leaving us standing there. I complained... More

After looking through many reviews, mixed messages were arising from this elephant trek. After a long hard think, me and my boyfriend decided to just go for it! We visited a river to begin with, bamboo rafting down a peaceful river. Lunch provided and spent in a local village (very bland sticky noodles). We then drove to the elephant farm,... More

I wanted to surprise my girlfriend by proposing so emailed and the reply was also super positive and fast with saying they will do what they can, but of... More

Our family of 5 (62, 40, 38, 11, 8) all had an excellent time. I was a little hesitant in booking this as we are all animal lovers and did not want our animal excursion to be a negative/traumatizing experience for the kids. It definitely was not. We did the bamboo rafting and elephant trek combo and really enjoyed it.... More

I was reading all the reviews before my visit to the elephants and I was so confused. I love animals and I wouldnt like to participate in something that could possibly harm them. I agree that animals are better on the wild. But in Thailand, elephant is and was on the past an animal helping with works as we use... More

This company never showed up to pick us up for the tour. When we called they claimed they had written down the wrong date and would not allow us to go. Booking with this company is a risk no one should take.
