Since 30 years ago, I worked in Sankampang, Chiang Mai, Thailand, never had chance to visit in this shop. So now I got my chance and visited. I bought some silk scarfs. Good quality of silk.

Shinawatra Thai Silk is amazing. You can see how the silk is produced and the you can spend 1 hour in the shop! Prices are high but the quality is very very high! The style is local... so I think that this place is perfect...More

If you want to buy Thai Silk which is 100% authentic, don't look further. The price is extremely cheap for such quality goods.

Drive out onto Rt1006 east from Chiang Mai about 30min, and on the right, you'll find the high-class, modern building for Shinawatra Thai Silk. You will be graciously greeted, and given a personal guide to see all. They retrieve the silk threads differently than ThaiSilk...More

There's an interesting silk place in the Golden Mile and they will take you through all the stages in making silk . It's really quite fascinating.first time I ever saw anything like this.
