Cool night market with a big variety of handmade products, local food and good prices. If you are not a big fan of thai food it's not a bid del as there are a few restaurants where you can find Western food for affordable prices. I believe it is a good option to explore it for one night while in... More

Can't come to Chiang Mai unless you come visit the night market. Full of things to buy and so affordable.

I think every city here has one. The only difference that I can see is the size of them. This is a big one, and you really can't see it all. But you don't really need to. Lots of everything everywhere you look. Bargain and walk away if they don't meet your price. Someone else will.

I was lucky that my hostel was right by the night bazaar. Such good food and not as hectic as the weekend night markets. I found a stand that made amazing fresh papaya salad, and also a lady who made delicious vegetarian pad Thai, for a grand total of less than 100 baht. I went back for the same dinner... More

Not the biggest night bazaar as the local mentioned that Sunday Night Bazaar is huge compare to Saturday Night Bazaar. Started from Chiang Mai Gate till Wu Lai Road. Typical night market but it's clean, have interesting merchandise and they have also set up stall for their street food. It's a must visit when you are in Chiang Mai.

The market is OK for one night but is quite crowded and one guy hit me from the back, then I check my backpack and it was opened, luckly I didn't have nothing worth in that pocket... but watch out. We enjoyed the bars that had live music, there was a thai heavy metal band that was really nice.

Nice place to wander round & wasn't too busy at this time of year. Lots of local knick-nacks so perfect for souvenir shopping, surronded by other bazaars & street stalls, including lots of street food & fresh (live) seafood to pick. People saying 'too touristy' like their somehow better than a tourist bore me! Yes there's lots of other things... More
