Had a peaceful visit in the morning. There's nothing to do other than observe or mediate unless you are Buddhist as I saw some giving gifts for Buddha.

I had visited this temple for many years since my mature adult days each time I was in Chiang Ma. The Abbot and monks speak english and makes a good effort to welcome and chat with visitors. It is a quiet temple off the busy...More

We paid a visit to this temple and met three very kind English speaking monks. They were extremely patient with us and willing to share their knowledge of Buddhism. We wanted to buy some jade Buddha pendants and they spent about half an hour to...More

We came across this Wat when we took a shortcut from our guesthouse. A small Wat with numerous jade Buddha's. They also sell jade objects.

We spotted this Wat during our last stay in Chiang Mai but did not have time to visit it. It located away from the main touristy roads, although the signs pointing to this temple are all over the area. What a pleasant visit! Don’t miss...More

Public restroom! Look for the Jade Buddha signs. Shoes off. Nice to visit the temple also. And please do take your shoes off prior to entering the temple or the restroom.

Most tourists visiting Chiang Mai don't know of this temple. Compared to Wat Chiang Man or Wat Chedi Luang, this is not a must-visit. However, if you are in the area hunting for second-hand books, it shouldn't be a problem to stop by for 10...More
