Visiting the Elephant Nature Park was the main reason I came to Thailand. We choose this park because of how they treat their animals. Here you will NOT ride any elephants because these elephants are no longer abused. The volunteers were so knowledgable and it...More

Had the privilege of spending the day here and witnessing the great work they do with elephants rescued from abuse, logging, land mine injuries, circus and other horrible situations. Well worth the extra dollars to ensure the good work continues

We chose the half day trip, which resulted in enough time spent with the elepgants, first you feed them, then you bath them and the you walk with them in the open field. The experience is awesome, the guide was great.

What a wonderful place, doing truly fantastic work. Our guide was excellent, spoke fantastic English and answered lots of questions. They give you lots of time to explore the park. Lunch provided is very good too.

Hi. I am volunteering at ENP for a week beginning July 2. I have read some reviews and it seems there isn't much interaction with the elephants at all. But the reviews for the people who come for a day visit or who do other programs such as Saddle Off or Pamper a Pachyderm have wonderful stories of walking with an elephant family and feeding them and just being close to them... bathing and playing in the mud with them. I thought that as a volunteer, we would have more interaction working with them than day visitors. Does anyone have a recent experience to share? I have been following the elephants for a couple of years and I feel like I know them! I don't want to get there and only be allowed to stand on a platform to observe them. I know we can't freely mingle with them, but I was hoping for a little something more personal! I love elephants and want to help in any way needed. But I also want a little elephant time each day to get to know them and spend time with them- walking with them, watching them not from a distance on a platform. Any info would be great! Thanks!

You are out and about with the elephants. The park does not allow bathing of the elephants anymore. This is because an elephant does not need a human to bathe it, it is more than capable of doing that for itself. We spent... More
