The elephant nature park is a must do in Thailand. Lek (the owner) is an amazing women who has set up a place which is an incredible for the people who visit and volunteer as it is for the elephants. This place will open yours eyes to the cruelty that domestic elephants have to go through and will let you... More

I doubt i'll add anything new here that hasn't already been covered elsewhere. But i'll keep the glowing reviews rolling. I booked the Hope for elephants package for me and my wife. Mainly because it was the only one left with 2 spaces for the time we were there. We left it a bit late to book. So if you... More

Simply put, Elephant Nature Park is a very special place. My two teenage daughters and I just finished a week long volunteering experience at ENP in Chiang Mai and it was quite literally one of the best things I have ever done and certainly something my girls and I will cherish forever. What the founder Lek is doing for so... More

Where to begin.... I did the Journey to Freedom program at the ENP and it was the pinnacle of my trip to Thailand. J2F kicked off on a Monday and wrapped up the following Sunday. Everyday was an adventure and everyday was different. On Monday we met at the ENP's main office in Chiang Mai and then travelled by passenger... More

Had an incredible experience here. I will never forget this day. Got to swim with the elephants, walk through the jungle with the elephants and feed the elephants. Spent so much time with these incredible creatures and this place completely exceeded my expectations. I also really love that this place helps rehabilitate and actually saves elephants. Definitely book a day... More

This was such an exciting and thrilling day out. I decided to take the full day tour, as I wanted to make a whole day of it and walk the forest paths with the elephants .....but I think you can still have a great experience with only half a day- and do something else later in the day. Be prepared... More

I'm sure all the other reviews say it too.. so just.. go here!! The elephants will thank you for it! Looks like they have a lovely life and after learning about how elephants are 'trained' (aka tortured) in to allowing tourists to ride them/paint pictures/perform in circus.. I couldn't advise strongly enough to go here instead!

The Karen Elephant Experience with the Elephant Nature Park was truly one of the most remarkable experiences of my life! I cannot say enough good things about this organization and the people who work for them. Their mission was front and center from the start, as we watched an educational video about the horrors of elephant abuse (elephant riding, circus... More

I would highly recommend doing a day tour; I did the Sunshine for Elephants and it was amazing. Instead of just touring the Nature Park we got to go on our own hike with the elephants and had a few opportunities to feed them. We then had lunch and jumped into the river with them for bath time. So much... More
