At this place, carers treat their elephants like their own children, with so much love and adoration. Our guide was helpful and professional.

Amazing experience - respect and love to the elephants
Nov 2021 • Solo
Amazing experience thanks to Sam! He came to pick us up at our hotel and was our guide throughout the whole tour. He taught us everything about elephants and how they set them free from mistreating camps. Once you arrive, you are greeted by Poy who is a lovely person. Then, you wear a light uniform. And then, the magic begins. Sam explains to you how to address the elephants, they have to smell you and you have to address them by their names. He always treated them with respect. We walked in Nature so that the elephants could eat. We never hurried the elephants but walked along according to their rhythm. Elephants are often itchy so they put dust on their back and use their tail to rub themselves. So after the walk, they bathe in a pond. You can even participate and wash them. Finally, we got lunch: pad thai, rice, chicken and veggies and a thai omelet. We saw Kim the owner who driving throughout the property to cut the banana trees for elephants. You can tell everyone is dedicated to elephants. No wonder that tour is ranked #1 on tripadvisor. I can only recommend this tour. My toddler loved it. Thanks Sam. Marie & Anthony

Once in a Lifetime Experience
Nov 2021 • Couples
My wife and I did a full day trip with Elephant Rescue Park and it was the highlight of our trip. The experience of walking alongside these magnificent animals is hard to describe - we would definitely recommend the full day to maximize interaction and getting the opportunity to bath them. Now is a great time to book this because there were only 7 in our group and we had pretty much 1:1 ratio with the elephants. It’s also helping support an organization in a time they really need it. You could tell how passionate Kid and Sam were about their mission, and they have gone above and beyond to take care of their elephants during tough financial times. They treat all their animals with so much love and care. Cannot recommend enough! We will definitely be back someday.

Dear guests It’s nice to hear feedback from you about the tour. It’s true as you said that visiting us at this time is a great help for us to support these elephants. Since there was COVID-19 effect for almost 2 years,it put us under big financial stress a lot. Your visit is like the key that opens the way for us to move forward. Hope to see you again in the future. Thanks and best regards, Kid and ERPK team

Memorable (and Ethical) Elephant Visit!
Nov 2021 • Friends
This organization is a must-see if you’re in Chiang Mai for even half a day! The elephants are amazing and unlike so many tourist traps in Thailand-they are treated so very well here!

I have worked with animal rescue organizations abroad before, and am always very cautious about which companies deserve support based on their humane treatment of animals-and Elephant Rescue Park certainly impressed me!

We had a memorable day of walking with these beautiful animals, feeding them, helping them with an afternoon bath-and learning each one’s unique personality.

Support this worthy cause and the dedicated team at Elephant Rescue park by visiting them and letting them share this special spot with you!

Happy elephants
Jun 2021 • Couples
It was amazing to know this park. The elephants were well cared for and were very happy to go on a walk with us. They explained us how many of the elephants were mistreated before and put to work but now they only have to eat, take walks and baths which they enjoy so much.

Fantastic Experience
Apr 2021 • Friends
Really fantastic trip to see these amazing rescued elephants. Steve and Julie were brilliant hosts who showed how much the mahouts and all of the staff at Elephant Resue Park really care for these animals. We got to walk with 3 elephants and were able to watch them do whatever they wanted to do in they're own natural habitat. The elephants are chain free all day and all night. I would recommend this place as the number 1 ethical elephant experience in Thailand.

The entire experience was perfect from start to finish including pick up from our hotel and a wonderful lunch at the park. Couldn't fault it. We'll be back.

Thank you so much for your review. We are very pleased that our two English Volunteers, Julie and Steve, helped to make your entire experience perfect from start to finish and you enjoyed your journey to and from the Park and your lunch too. It is so rewarding for us all when our visitors recognise how much our mahouts and our whole team care for our elephant family. Walking with our elephants and observing what they do, in their own natural habitat, is a key part of the experience at Elephant Rescue Park. Thank you for recommending us as the number one ethical elephant experience in Thailand. We look forward to welcoming you back!
