And we've been to some real stinkers over the last few weeks! This was different. On a Thursday night walking street transforms into a vibrant and colourful array of food and goods stalls. The food is offered in incredible variety, be sure to try the...More

It sometimes hard to find a park but we always manage Lots of interesting stuff on offer and some reasonable restaurants in the area some with live music. Try the Thai jelly sweets, yummy, we personally don't eat from ANY street vendor as our rule...More

i prefer maenam walking street markets to lamai or chaweng or even fishermans village, which is just overcrowded and selling exactly the same stuff as every market in Thailand... Maenam is a pleasant way to do samui markets... less people, pleasant and quieter area, and...More

Great little market in Maenam for picking up souvenirs from your trips. Lots of street food and bars open to so plenty of places to stop and grab a bite along the way. Worth a visit :)

So much nicer than fishermen village market. Really pleasant to walk round and enjoy the atmosphere. Quite small but not as touristy therefore so much better!

This was our first trip out to maenam walking street market and loved it. It's a lot smaller than fishermans village or lamai walking street but you don't feel as hot or sweaty walking thru the stalls and there's a nice breeze, also it's not...More
