An average service, but nothing less to expect in south east asia

We travelled on the Lomprayah ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Tao and Koh Tao to Donsak. Samui to Tao was fine, the service was decent and the ferry was only about 15 mins later than... read more

I have travelled to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan many times over the last 8 years and avoid using Lomphraya because I don't like the overcrowded small boat and prefer the larger ferries. This last time will be the last time. Flew into Surat, had to wait 30 min for the bus to leave (they didn't let us on the... More

On time and clean, staff friendly. Ferry provided good seating with an onboard buffet, recommend the chicken sandwich.

Took the high speed boat to Koh Samui. Standard service and quick boat, however were playing an ad for elephant rides, monkey shows and elephant tricks. These rides/shows cause a great deal of suffering for the animals involved as they are abused until they accept training. This of course is out of the tourists eyes. Advertising these tours is common... More

We tried a couple of ferries to get to and from Koh Phangan and Lomprayah ended up having a more modern ferry, bigger and more comfortable as well as a bit (just a bit) cleaner than their competitor. Overall a good and fast service!

I just want to warn the people ordering longtime transfers from Lomprayah!!! Our transfer was Phangan - to Khao Sok. 1500 Batt for two and promissed 4,5 hours sppedboat and than minibus directly to Khao Sok village. I know, that Lomprayah is most popular option for tourists getting to destination point in Thailand, but out case was really unfortunate. The... More

I didn't realise until I got back to Bangkok as I thought perhaps I had forgotten it, but no. The only place my bag was out of my sight was on the ferry. My friend also had her bag searched and rummaged through. Avoid this company OR keep all valuables on your person. Shameful.

We travelled on the Lomprayah ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Tao and Koh Tao to Donsak. Samui to Tao was fine, the service was decent and the ferry was only about 15 mins later than scheduled (which is good for south east asia). We've travelled round south east asia and lomprayah is no different to any other form of... More

After several ferry journeys around the islands in the Andaman sea, this felt so much more organised! We were picked up early from our hotel in Ao Nang by the mini bus and then arrived to collect our tickets etc and board the double decker bus in Krabi. We left promptly to get to Surat Thani and I think for... More

This is the first and last time that Lomprayah has had us as guests. We participated with friends in the pack 1 day of the famous natural park of Angthong Convoy of expedition tourists with guide screaming his text like an automaton, including jokes Stops on site in three parts, leaving too little time each time to contemplate the places... Disorganised pier from which to travel to other islands - there must be order to their madness of boarding! However, staff in the restaurant not the friendliest, dislike having to change notes and the toilets are rank. All Ferreira generally run 20-30 minutes late as well!! On arrival, staff tell you to go one kiosk and queue only to find... More
