We went here with our two kids 2 and 5 years, we all loved the Buddha and temples, the latter which you can enter. Unfortunately the 18 arm goddess was locked out so we could only see it from a distance. We went there same time as some local schoolchildren, they did buy fish food 10 Bhat) in an automate... More

We found the Wat down a small lane and although this is quite a famous Wat we weren't expecting it to be so nice. We actually had to make our choice of Wat to go to should we die in Thailand when we made our wills here so I am so glad that we chose this Wat!!

This temple lies a bit of the beaten path, and seems to be visited mostly by tourists with an island tour. When you visit on your own, go early in the morning. Almost no people and not to hot. Two big statues steal the show, the laughing Buddha and Guanyin with 18 arms. Most of the buildings are in excellent... More

If you have limited time for temple sites in Samui then pick this temple . It's a 10min walk from the famous big Buddha temple but in my opinion much better . Firstly , there is much less tourist and more to see . There is 3 main shrine beautifully decked and also the man made pond filled with huge... More

Nice, but just another temple for tourists to visit. If you have seen one, you have seen them all I guess.

When on the island, one needs to visit this religious site. Great for photos and a peaceful place to commune with nature. No pressure to hurry through the area like other temples.

It is a vast site with plenty of temples to see. The colors are brilliant, views picturesque and people friendly. Just be careful where you go in your shoes.

We went here by ourselves but it seems most people go on a tour. We went in the morning when it was quite and it was very nice! Definitely worth a trip if on the island. Definitely get some fish food and throw into lake, you'll be amazed how many fish they actually are.

It's peaceful, beautiful and you can feed fishes. Enough space to have fun for kids, especially they are happy to feed fishes and pigeons.
