Wat Plai Laem is close to the Big Buddha statue and one of the most beautiful temples (and temple grounds) on the island of Ko Samui. One can easily spend a morning here as there are many buildings of interest and it's also beautiful to just sit by the water's edge and watch the massive fish being fed by locals.... More

An impressive site that is a "must see" when on the island. There is a lot to see here and it's all free however donations are very welcome. Apart from the very large statues there are fish that can be fed along with the pigeons. However being from England I hate to be around lots of scabby pigeons but it... More

I'd say this is a must see in Koh Samui. The size of Buddha is huge and really makes you realise how small we are. I highly recommend seeing this.

We visited this first as part of a trip but was actually only 200 meters from hotel. The temples were very colourful and decorative. You are aloud to go inside but need to be respectful with dress code and taking shoes off. Only need 30 mins there and very close to the Big Bhudda

This temple is so stunning and there is so much visually to take in. I highly recommend. One note, when visiting temples women must cover there shoulders and legs so having a sarong is handy.

I've been to many temples and monuments whilst travelling around Asia and this was just as beautiful. I liked that there was a lot to see all around one another, you feel like you're getting to see a lot without having to travel far. Definitely recommended

We took a day trip with taxi driver (for 2000 baht) , this temple was really amazing , we came for 15 min but stayed for an hour and wanted some more , if you have time , go to big budha temple as well but if you have to choose , this one is better .

Its beautiful. 3 different temples all within this compound. Its free to wander round but best respectful and women must cover arms and legs.
