Visited a Koh Tan for lunch and snorkeling after traveling to the mainland to watch pink dolphins (which was amazing). We snorkeled well out from the beach, off the boat, and the water was quite clear with a good number of different fish. Pity about...More

The island is located in the south of Ko Samui. It can be reached by boat easily from Koh Tan Pier. Long boats can be rented on a day base. First they go to the east side of Ko Tan for snorkeling. The water was...More

arranged snorkeling here as part of a group through tour agent in Chaweng. Cheaper alternative than full day excursion to the north of Samui and also a conservative bet in case of bad weather or the kids (9 & 12) didn't enjoy it. Turned out...More

We annually visit this little gem when we get friends. It can be accessed by longtail boat from Tong Krut on Koh Samui. Small restaurants and great snorkeling spots.

I guess this is the most relaxing beach in Samui. When there are hundreds of people in Chaweng beach, in Koh Tan only around 20. You can't find much there for fun. Just lay down and enjoy the sun.

Have dived there twice over the two years I have come to stay at Samui. Each time it was a breath of fresh air, water warm and clear. An hour trip but worth the time but always great company

We were here for snorkeling. Not that much boots loke at Ko Tao. Water for rain season quite clear. Some of the typical fishes.
