It was as expected - a temple in Thailand!
I walked from our hotel on an extremely hot day.
I’m glad I went but I wouldn’t say don’t miss it. On the way back I had a delicious Tom yum at Samui kitchen

We walked here from the beach, very doable, there's only a small steep part...the views from the top are great...entrance fee is just 20 baht...cold drinking water available too

A rather long stairway lead to the Pagoda Khao Hua Jook. Funny to notice the many cock's crowing all the time. The interior of the temple is amazing with golden pillars and three holy persons.

20bht entry plus donations for chilled bottled water. Great viewpoint for the surrounding area. A short walk from the Central Samui shopping mall. Last 500m quite steep.

I cannot write new things comparing to the previouses but it is still definitely worth a visit. The view is great, especially for the airport (my son loves airplanes). Admission fee is still 20 tbh but only for adults. There are some stairs but the pagoda is easy to access even with small kids. Due to the off-season timi g there were only few people which made the experience even better

We climbed up the many steps and looked around the pagoda with amazing views. It was very interesting to look inside the room beneath the pagoda and see the many artefacts. It’s well worth Bht 20 per person. When we had finished our tour the monk near the pay desk made us a cup of coffee, gave us some snacks and watermelon slices. He didn’t do this for anyone else. There was no expectation of payment but of course we put money in the donation box. The kindness of Thai people is something we cherish and take home with us.

We made the time to stop here and it was great. Easy to get to from Chewang on scooters and simple to park at the top. Stairs are pretty easy to walk up and once at the top the views are amazing. As other have said go easy before the tours or go
Late once everyone has finished for the day. Highly recommended.

We drove our motorcycle up a fairly steep road north of Chaweng to see the view at this pagoda. We did not go in the temple , I was not dressed with covering and we have seen lots of temples but the view at the top and around was totally worth the stop. You can see the whole coast in 3 directions and hills to the west and are just above the airport to watch the airplanes land.

Took a trip to visit the very beautiful Pagoda Khan Hua Jook. You need to be covered to visit this very special place. It was so quiet & tranquil with stunning views out over the island.
Lots of beautiful butterflies too.

Do you need to be covered up (shoulders & legs) as with other temples? Thanks

Das sollte man grundsätzlich aus Respekt tun. Wie in jedem Tempel
