"2 SKY PATTAYA Rocket-Ball is a truly breathtaking experience where two brave riders are catapulted high up into the air at totally thrilling speeds, spinning and bouncing as they go!!! " What is it Rocket Ball?The Rocket Ball ride, consists of two steel towers with a special cord connected to each tower. The other ends of the cords are attached to a caged steel vehicle in which 2 riders are seated. The vehicle is pulled to the ground, where riders board. When the vehicle is released from the loading station, the cords engage, sending riders on a high-speed vertical launch 50 meters into midair at speeds of 100 KPH in one second and 5G force power. Rocket Ball to the sky! To call the Rocket Ball the most thrilling, exciting, amazing experience is no understatement. Two towers and one gondole allows to be catapulted into the air, going from 0 to 100 KPH in one second. No doubt about it, it’s the ultimate rush.Who operates behind the scenes of 2Sky Pattaya - Rocket Ball?Our team here at 2Sky Pattaya, are trained and qualified to the fullest extent by Technical Park. 2Sky Pattaya is also fully supervised by an on-site European technical engineer/master.Is it safe?of course it is! the passengers are first secured by a four point harness (such as what you would find in a rally car for example) A padded safety bar is then locked into position in front of the passengers. Each pair of cords has a determined lifespan which is monitored very closely. Each 'jump' is recorded by computer which then generates a regular safety report and tells the operator when the cords are due to be replaced. and if that wasn't enough, in the highly improbable event of a cord failing there is an additional failure safety system bound into the elastics of the cord to prevent the gondola falling. We also have a highly skilled team of engineers here at 2Sky Pattaya who carry out daily checks and maintenance but Technical Park-Italy also carry out an annual safety inspection before the attraction is deemed safe for operation. These safety reports are available upon request to members of the public.

The activity was great. The price was on higher side which costed 1200THB for 2 person.
The video of the whole activity could be bought at 250THB. Seeing the reviews of this activity on video, I had requested the person in charge there to show me the video(which he apparently transferred on the CD) on the CD on his computer screen. And again and again he kept showing us the live feed they had recorded.
So beware of being conned for the video!!

We booked a voucher for this ride. Since my bf still has fiber cast on his left leg, i read all the guidelines, and good thing, it only says that the ride won't allow people with heart ailment and hypertension. So people in cast may ride? Yahooo! haha. Thus, we pushed thru. The sky rocket ball is a very good thrill-substitute for bungee jump. The part of free falling, is SUPER! I had a great laugh and time watching my bf having those I-Might-Die-Look and Scream. LOL. So for those ride-thrill-seeker, have a go for this.
Also, i recommend you avail for their HD video record for 250THB only. This is a once in a lifetime ride, so it will be fun to watch and reminisce those comical faces.

It was really cool. Seeing it from the streets is really attractive, so we decided to give it a try. They say you reach 5g acceleration, 100 kmph and 50 meters of altitude. It certainly feels that way. Don't remember when I experienced more G forces :D
Basically G forces makes you forget about your altitude, and then, as the ball calms down you're like "wow, I'm really high in the air, and the view is really nice".
They don't let you take your gopro as they have their own. But the problem is you get the footage (which is really good) on a CD... A museum technology. Now I have this CD with my self for 2 weeks and don't know what to do with it. Hoping to find some ancient PC when I return from my trip. Bring your own USB stick and tell them to put the footage on it.

At the one end of the walking street you get the flashing lights and this ride. Well worth a watch people love it. All the light and you get to see people shot up into the air.

2 sky pattaya rocket ball located at end of walking street is a thrilling experience. It's a sling shot with 360° rotation with a beautiful view of pattaya city and sea shore. We have taken ride at night and the city was colourful with lights.
The staff and manager are very friendly. You can get a cd of your ride experience which is fun watching later.

My boyfriend & I did this and we both thought it was a lot of fun!!! A little scary because you go up so high and fast but we were smiling and laughing the whole time! Would do it again!
We were all strapped in and sitting there talking and were not ready when it took off...which made for a funny video lol! We watched the video while there and it looked great so we purchased it. When we tryed to watch it in our TV at home it doesn't work right....plays a few seconds then pauses...throughout the whole video. This was disappointing. There is also a bar there for drinks and chairs set up for people to watch. They had a lock box for us to put all our stuff in while we were in the air.
Would recommend the rocketball!!! Would not recommend buying their video.

Stopped for a little excitement and sure got it. It is just like bungee Jumping only backwards, Bungee you do down slowly Rocket Ball you go up really, really fast. I went singly 800b, $ 22.86us. I found the experience to be excellerating. Not sure how fast but I left everything behind and then it caught up with me. Great Fun, expensive but well worth it.
