Dirty, poluted, overcrowded, heavy traffic on Beach Road above, full of beggars and people selling stuff.Just 30 minute ferry ride away from Pattaya pier you have a little gem caled Koh Larn with its beautiful beaches. Much better solution for a day on the beach.

Pattaya beach is a long but busy beach. It us full of people, eater sports. Water eas not clear on the day I visited. It's not s beach which you can relaxed and enjoy. May be Jomtien beach 20minutes away will be better.

A crowded, not so clean beach, green water, lots of boats. Didn't enjoy visiting it though traveled three hours from Bangkok. The attractions mentioned on different sites were good for children only. However, cheap hotels, food and escort girls were easily available.

I prefer krabi and phuket compared to pattaya. A bit dirty with rubbish all over the place.....The walkway was nice though....

Although there have been improvements like cleaner beach and sea and separation swimming area and now ban for smoking there is much more to improve. Such as price table, wifi , eating , decent chairs , kindness etc

Nice and Good Sandy Beach , enjoy coconut sweat water , very much enjoyable for kids as well. Good photographic view as good sunshine from behind makes it simple.

Nice clean beach. You can have evening walk or run across the beach. Other than that nothing special about the beach

Absolutely not suggested! If you want to see some beautiful beaches go to Phuket or Krabi. Pattaya is ok for nightlife, that's all folks!

There are for sure much better beaches in Thailand - e.g. Phuket, Ko Samui, Krabi, small islands, even Hua Hin. Main Pattaya beach is relatively clean but quite busy.
